A STRONG NETWORK FOR STRONG INNOVATIONS
Research is a head start. The WildLifePRO cooperation network is an interdisciplinary association of companies and research institutions. Together we develop innovative solutions for the welfare of wild & zoo animals - from GEO tracking to holistic ecosystem management.
Preserving our ecosystems, biodiversity and safeguarding animal welfare is elementary for the continued existence of the earth and humanity.
With the help of the WildLifePRO cooperation network, we are able to establish a unique, interdisciplinary research environment. In doing so, we ensure a development-driving knowledge transfer as well as the procurement of funding for research and development projects.
With the help of innovative technologies, the WildLifePRO network contributes to the conservation of our ecosystems.
Together we develop solutions in the field of veterinary medicine to ensure animal welfare and preserve biodiversity.
We understand a cooperation network to be a strong collaboration at eye level with a clear goal in mind.
Our shared vision forms the cornerstone for our research projects and innovations.
In March 2019, the UN General Assembly adopted the "Decade for Ecosystem Restoration". The goals based on the basic idea of "ecosystem health" are:
- Restoration of destroyed ecosystems
- Promoting biodiversity
- Resettlement programmes
- Conservation of biodiversity
Our vision is to make a significant contribution to this goal with innovative solutions.
WildLifePRO is supported by clear development lines and research claims.
Our development lines at a glance:
- Tracking systems for monitoring habitats, especially in the context of reintroduction programmes
- Decision support systems for ecosystem development
- Sensor-based monitoring systems for stock counting and monitoring
- Monitoring systems for stress assessment of animals in wildlife enclosures and zoos
- Sensor-based solutions for non-invasive, contactless recording of vital data
- Personalisable methods for veterinary care
- Energy efficiency concepts for zoo animal husbandry
KNOW HOW & NETWORK
WildLifePRO offers interdisciplinary knowledge transfer and valuable contacts for development-driven research.
The WildLifePRO innovation network brings many advantages for the development of new technologies:
- interdisciplinary exchange
- Diverse areas of competence of the network members
- Expertise & experience with approval procedures
- years of research experience
- valuable, strategic network of contacts
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Ecosystems as a research and development area are a central element of our work.
From tracking technology to innovative solutions for the evaluation of GEO data, we want to exploit all potentials for the conservation of ecosystems with the help of research & development.
PROGRESSIVE & DEVELOPMENTAL
Our network members
Benefit from the strength of our network! Thanks to constant knowledge transfer, organisation of funding and regular exchange, we create innovations that change the zoo & wildlife world. Together we pursue one mission: safeguarding animal welfare and promoting biodiversity.
Become part of the innovation network like many renowned institutions!
