The company specialises in the development and production of molecular biological diagnostics for medical microbiology. Amplex can look back on more than 10 years of positive development.^®-The hyplex test platform was already introduced to the market in 2002, the year the company was founded. The same applies to the first molecular biological MRSA test, which can be processed directly from a nasal swab without DNA isolation. Another pillar of the product portfolio are the eazyplex® rapid tests, which are based on LAMP technology. This is a lyophilised ready-to-use amplification system that can be stored at room temperature. The buffer solution required for sample preparation is aliquoted ready-to-use and can be used directly for sample introduction. During amplification, the result is detected in real time.
