Institute Chemnitz Mechanical and Plant Engineering (ICM) e.V.

The ICM research institute was founded in 1992. Research and development work concerns components, assemblies and plants as well as innovative processes. The implementation of the associated processes is decisively supported by the conceptual design and development as well as the construction and production of prototypical solutions and test benches. Equipment that meets the most modern requirements is available for this purpose. The competences also include numerical and iterative simulation, as well as electronics development. Fields of application include medical technology, electromobility and plant engineering. The ICM is a management facility for various networks that are funded within the framework of the ZIM programme.

Core competencies for the network: Mechanical and electrical design and sensor integration
