Waldrappteam Dr. Johannes Fritz

The Waldrappteam Conservation & Research has been led by the biologist Dr Johannes Fritz since its foundation in 2002. The focus of the funding is on scientific projects for the conservation and reintroduction of the bald ibis in Central Europe.From 2014 to 2019, the Waldrapp team acted as the executing agency of the European Union-funded LIFE+ project "Reason for Hope", which focused on anti-poaching measures and veterinary monitoring via GPS transmitters. The project has had numerous successes and will continue with the support of numerous partners and sponsors.
